CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clients should respect the rights of other clients and
Hunter Integrated Care Inc. staff and volunteers.
- Clients need to take responsibility for the result of
any decisions they make.
- Clients are to pay the agreed fees for the services they
receive.
- Clients are not to attend service outlets under the
influence of alcohol or illicit drugs.
- Clients have an obligation to assist the organisation in
providing care staff with a safe working environment and implement
recommended practices to reduce the injury risk to Hunter Integrated
Care Inc. employees and volunteers.
- Clients are not to verbal harass or make derogative
statements to employees or contractors about the current employee or
service providers, other employees or contractors.
- Clients should not hinder or intimidate employees or
contractors in performing the tasks documented on their care plan.
- Provide 24 hours notice, when service is not required.
SMOKING
Employees are not permitted to smoke whilst on duty.
It would be appreciated if, for occupational health and safety
reasons, the client and other people within a house or office
would not smoke in the same room or motor vehicle that an employee or
volunteer is working in .
Additionally for general safety we request that people living
in a house that we provide care in, refrains from smoking whilst in bed.
